Growing up in a family with a history strongly embedded in architecture and fine art, Lacey Chaus found her love of interior design during her summer vacations in college. While attending Harvard, where she would later graduate with a B.A. in History of Art & Architecture, Lacey spent her summers interning with New York based designer Celerie Kemble.
After graduating, Lacey began her career with Trisha Reger as the head designer on projects from New York to Moscow while she continued her education at the New York School of Interior Design.
After seven years in the field with a focus on gut renovation and building, she founded her eponymous design firm Lacey Chaus Interiors in December of 2014. Lacey lives between her homes in New York City and East Hampton with her husband, son, and daughter.
